SIOE Denmark had organised a demonstration in Denmark in front of the embassy of Belgium in Copenhagen on friday the 17th.:
The slogans “Free spech NOW!” and “Free speech for free people!” rang in the street when dedicated people met up in order to protest against the Brussels mayor’s dictatorial decision of banning a peaceful demonstration arranged by SIOE in EU’s capital Sep. the 11th.
The police was present and made sure that the demonstration was held in good order.
After the manifestation, 7 of the participants carrying the signs went back to their cars.
Suddenly there were 15-17 autonomous on bikes coming our way and they started to throw filled bottles after our group.
One bottle hit on the ground only one meter from a woman from the demonstration. It landed with such a power that it would have killed her if she was hit in the head.
5 of our group succeded to scare the attackers away with the use of the signs as shields.
It’s shocking to realise that these autonomous are prepared to kill in order to stop democraticminded people’s right to manifest.
This phenomenon is often seen in history.
It’s called fascist methods in order to stop utterances that do not harmonise with the fascist way of thinking.
And at the same time we have to remember that they act in harmony with Freddy Thielemans words!

This won’t stop me from going to Brussel. In februari 2006, we had a similar demonstration , on the Dam in Amsterdam and there were about 70 of these fascists, to desturb our peaceful demonstration. Lucky for us, the police was all arround us. I think these people, these fascists will try to do the same on sept. the 11th.
People, don’t let them frighten you, come to Brussel, to stand up for our right tot demonstrate!

Locate a town close to Brussel and have your demonstration there. you will get the same attention fromthe press.

Please accept my thanks as an American for what you and your group stand for and have accomplished. I will try to be in Brussels with my U.S. flag and will walk peacefully. I will, however, bring a camera to record what might be thrown. Did the police apprehend and prosecute those who assaulted your group?

What an excellent idea, Mr Christof! Evidently those going to Brussels will have to stay in groups at ALL times and not leave ourselves vulnerable to attack from these thugs.
Bring a camera and, if any attacks occur, provide help and support to friends – and take up matters with the Belgian police and courts.

I am proud of You, Danes, that you, demonstrated in front of the Begian Embassy in Copenhagen. Yes, that sort of cowardice people as the Autonomer will always assault peaceful demonstrants. You can expect these actions. Still, on the eleventh of september, I am in Brussels to use my freedom of speech.What a pity that such a beautiful city has such a disgusting mayor.

Hello every body, I am very shoking about what’s happen when you pacificaly walk in your own city and in your own country, this attack demonstrate that islam is not a religion of peace! this religion don’t tolerate any remarks, anything ( remember you the caricature of mahomet!)!! Only violence, fear, intimidation, destruction and war!! That’s the credo of this religion!!!
Henning says that we must find an other city for demo because of the non-autorization of the mayor, but he forget that Brussel is the capital of Europe, so we must go to Brussel and make our march there,it’s symbolic!!!
For you all, my best regards, I’ll be in Brussel in september 11!
ps: for the people who have been attack by the group after the pacific demo near Belgian’s embassy in Denmark, I’m with you, my best thinking is for you and please don’t stop your actions otherwise these men will be the winners!

@Kevin: Of course I don’t have any figures, but I guess the majority of Germans would support the ban of a xenophobe march of racists.
SIAD says: jolly rogers, it seems you can’t make your points without calling SIOE racists and extreme right wing. SIOE has said loud and clear that “Racism is the lowest form of stupidity!” and they have explained that they are non-political, but you obviously don’t want to hear….I guess this forum is not for you.

Do you have any pictures of such vile and VIOLENT sentiments on the part of SIOE?
